Event Description:
This year, the Amgen Award for Science Teaching Excellence will only be
open to local teachers in Amgen communities. Thus, here in Massachusetts,
only science teachers in Essex, Norfolk, Middlesex, and Suffolk Counties
are eligible to apply.
The nine winners across Amgen communities will receive an unrestricted
cash award of $5,000, with the recipient's school receiving an additional
$5,000 restricted grant for their school's science program.
We strongly encourage you to apply for the 2012 Amgen Award for Science
Teaching Excellence.
